Dodgers baseball is back, and fans are gearing up for Opening Day, April 6 versus the San Diego Padres.
Baseball fanatics as well as those just tagging along for the ride are sure to need a pre-game stop to eat and enjoy a few before L.A.’s first home game.
Philippe’s will be ready for the pre-game fans — the Bud Light Girls and Angel City Brewery will be on-site — and a French Dip sandwich will be sure to satisfy your craving before heading to the stadium. Opening day festivities will run from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. That morning only, last call for breakfast will be at 9 a.m.
Food is permitted from outside Dodger Stadium, so grab some French Dips to go. According to the Dodgers website, unbroken, sealed bottles of water and non-alcoholic beverages of 1-liter or less are permitted as well, just no cans, bottles or thermoses.
At less than two miles from Dodger Stadium, Philippe’s is also a great post-game spot. Nothing special is planned for the post-game crowd, but a French Dip and a side of Coleslaw will be much deserved after nine innings of baseball.
