For the second season, Dodger Fans throughout the Southland are scrambling for a way to catch their home team’s action.
Last year, the baseball club announced the launch of their new cable network, SportsNet L.A., which is only offered by Time Warner Cable and is the only network to air both home and away games.
Those with DirecTV, Charter, Cox, DISH, U-Verse of Verizon FiOS are out of luck.
So Philippe’s has given Dodger fans a chance to catch the action alongside some tasty eats. What’s better than the Dodgers, beer and a French Dip, or two?
Although games can still be watched by those who subscribe to MLB Extra Innings or stream MLB.tv, things can still get complicated. I.e. MLB.tv has some blackout restrictions, so the safe bet is catching the game at Philippe’s.
