Who’s ready for Dodgers playoffs? Nothing quite sets the tone for an epic game like a French Dip and a beer at Philippe’s.
Head over to the restaurant before game 1 of the NLDS on Saturday, Oct. 7. The Dodgers will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at 6:20 p.m., with game 2 set for Monday, Oct. 9 at 6:07 p.m., also at Dodger Stadium.
Philippe’s will be decked out in Dodger blue all day – including decorations and staff in team gear – and will welcome fans as they start making their way to the stadium.
Baseball fanatics can enjoy some opening day eats such as French Dips, signature sides like mac salad and chili, ice cold craft beer and plenty more to satisfy any craving.
Philippe’s is located less than two miles from Dodger stadium and directly across the street from Union Station, where you can catch a free ride with your gameday ticket on the Dodger Stadium Express bus. Service leaves Union Station every 10 minutes starting 90 minutes before the game.
Outside food is permitted at Dodger Stadium as long as it’s in a clear tote, so don’t forget a few French Dips for the road. Philippe’s also sells a clear, stadium-approved game day tote at the candy counter and online.
Philippe the Original is located at 1001 N. Alameda St. and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more info and to view the menu, visit www.philippes.com.
