Philippe the Original will dazzle Angelinos during the Ultimate Bites of L.A., the opening event at this year’s L.A. 
Food & Wine Fest.
On Thursday, Aug. 27 beginning at 6:30 just outside the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Grand Avenue, Philippe’s will serve over 1,000 attendees with bite-size tastings of Lamb Dip Crostini; slow roasted leg of lamb on a blue cheese crostini served with hot mustard and au jus.
The slow roasted lamb will be prepared just as the meat is prepped daily at the restaurant for Philippe’s famous French Dipped sandwiches. Each crostini will be topped with the au jus made from the natural gravy of the roast. Philippe’s Hot Mustard will be drizzled on top — just enough to add a little kick.
This is Philippe’s first time participating in the Food & Wine Fest. Tickets are still available online for the Ultimate Bites event and all festival events planned through the weekend.
