Philippe’s will close through March 31 due to the mayor’s executive order to close LA City restaurants for in-person dining to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

At this time, Philippe’s will not offer pick up or delivery options until further notice.
“We are working to be as socially responsible as possible at this time,” said Philippe’s managing partner, Andrew Binder. “We’re a community and we are trying to combat this as a whole.”
Philippe’s previously had shipping & delivery options available, but is working to limit contact with the public while keeping the safety of its staff, employees and customers as the highest priority.
Restaurant management donated all food in the restaurant at the time of the order directly to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) for circulation to both fire staff and people in need. LAFD has found it hard to provide meals to firefighters given the overcrowded grocery stores and hoarding.
The executive order from Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti ordered LA City restaurants to remain closed until March 31 unless the executive order is rescinded or extended. The move is an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Philippe’s looks forward to the day when the restaurant can be open for business as usual.
