Having all of Los Angeles’ best restaurants under one roof sounds like a dream. When Philippe’s is part of that group of elected few, it’s downright “essential.” LA Weekly presents The Essentials for its 8th year on Saturday Feb. 20 at the California Market Center from 6 to 10 p.m.
Philippe’s has a rich history and is the city’s oldest operating restaurant. Beef and turkey French dips with hot mustard will be served on a turf roll. They will be sample size French Dips so guests don’t get full off of the entire sandwich. But we know they’ll be hooked and will come back for more
For those who have yet to try Philippe’s they will be able to sample their delicious foods that will have everyone talking at the event. Without a doubt they’re excited to be part of this exclusive event.
The food and wine extravaganza is brought to you by award-winning food writers and it showcases signature eateries featured in the weekly tabloid’s 99 Essentials restaurant issue that will be on stands the same week.
Guests will be under the same roof as LA’s hottest chefs, wineries and local vendors. Enjoy samples of the best food and drink the city has to offer.
Tickets are currently on sale on the Essentials’ TicketFly site for $60. Prices will increase on Sunday, January 17 at 11:59 p.m. The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the California Market Center, located at 110 E 9th St., Los Angeles, CA 90079.
