The Petros & Money radio broadcast team has a lot going for them, with their nearly endless live on-air talk of sports and comedy for your evening commute.
Put them together with Philippe’s and you have a winning combination. The Petros & Money show will be live-broadcasted on the air, as well as streamed online, at Philippe’s on Veteran’s Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 3-7 p.m.
The event will also include Philippe’s giveaways for gift cards, merchandise, and much more.
The Petros & Money show broadcasts live on-air every Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m. on KLAC AM 570, and is hosted by Petros Papadakis and Matt “Money” Smith. The station is also home of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
“Their show is a great fit for our restaurant” said General Manager, Richard Binder. “We have the love ofthe Dodgers and all LA teams in common with them and our patrons.”
Philippe’s is full of Dodger blue during Dodger season, and stopping by for a French Dip on the way to or after a game is tradition for many.
The show has been on the air since 2007 and covers topics throughout the sporting world, and plenty of Southern California action as well.
Papadakis is well-known for his playing days for the University of Southern California Trojans football program, as a tailback. He also makes various appearances on local and national television and radio stations.
On top of having his radio show with Smith, he also works as part-time public address announcer for his alma mater since 2004, as well as a college football analyst for Fox Sports.
Papadakis is a fan of the eatery, ordering his usual beef dip with swiss and extra hot mustard, a side of mashed potatoes and an Arnold Palmer – dubbed the “Petros Special.”
During Petros and Money Philippe’s broadcast, they will be collecting donations for Paralyzed Veterans of America. Philippe’s will also be contributing to the organization that is committed to assisting seriously injured Veterans.
Make sure to come out on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day and hang out and have a cold one with Petros & Money.
Philippe’s is a local hotspot for many who live in the area, and the place to be before and after LA home games for the Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers, Trojans, Kings and more. It serves up savory sandwiches, salads, tap beer, wine and much more.
