During this year’s L.A. Beer Week, Philippe the Original will offer beer lovers more than just tap brew.
After carefully selecting the best pairings, Philippe’s will feature five days of French Dip and tap beer matches, from a classic Bud Light, coleslaw and Beef Dip combination, to a bold Pork Dip, potato salad and Angel City IPA.
Beginning Monday, June 22, each of the restaurant’s six tap beers will be paired with a sandwich and side.
Lagunitas Pilsner nails the Pilsner style brew and includes doughy, bready malts and a dominating Pilsner malt aroma that works effortlessly with a Ham Dip topped with American cheese, and will be an available as a paired combo one or more days during Beer Week.
Each pairing includes a 16 oz. featured beer, sandwich and side at $2 off the regular menu price, no substitutions.
Featured sides can include coleslaw, macaroni and potato salad or a pickled egg.
A daily tap beer special (16 oz. size) will also be available for $1 off the regular menu price.
This beer lover’s paradise connects craft beer and great eats June 22 through June 26. While L.A. Beer Week runs for nine days, June 20 through June 28, Philippe’s narrowed down their specials to pair up with their five French Dip Sandwiches — Beef, Pork, Lamb, Ham and Turkey.
