The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium this weekend in the first two games of the National League Division Series.
Whether it’s for a beer, some pickled eggs or some French Dips to go (Dodger stadium allows outside food and drinks with some restrictions), here’s why Philippe’s is your best pregame bet:
It’s Close
The stadium is less than two miles and five minutes away (traffic permitting), which makes Philippe’s a convenient stop on the way.
Eat & Drink
With a great selection of beer, including several taps, and red and white wine, you can get creative with your favorite drink & French Dip pairing. And if beer or wine aren’t your thing, grab a thirst-quenching iced tea for 65 cents or a lemonade for 75 cents.
Dodger Stadium Express
This public transit is free with a game day ticket and runs every 10 minutes, starting two and a half hours before the game, from Union Station to the stadium. Union Station is just across the street from Philippe’s; pick up some sandwiches for the bus ride over. For more info on the bus schedule, click here.
Exciting & Easy
Philippe’s will excite your taste buds while staying easy on the wallet. Try one of five French Dip flavors, a classic side such as Macaroni Salad and a beer without breaking the bank. What makes it easier is that Philippe’s accepts credit cards as well as cash.
