MLB All-Star Game festivities start this weekend and baseball fans can start the experience at Philippe the Original, one of Los Angeles’ most iconic and oldest restaurants.
Ahead of the weekend’s events, including a concert Friday, July 15th at Dodger Stadium, attendees can stop in at Philippe’s for French Dips, sides and craft beer or wine.
Pair a NY Pastrami Dip with a side of chili and a Philippe’s Lager by Fig Mountain Brewery, or a Beef Dip with cheddar, a side of macaroni salad and a Calidad Mexican Lager.
On both Monday, July 18th and Tuesday, July 19th, fans can enjoy extra beer stations from Anheuser-Busch and Golden Road Brewing in the Philippe’s dining area. Both brewing companies will be on site in the afternoon with some free giveaways on hand.
Budweiser will serve one of its portfolio beers and Golden Road will serve a couple of its California-inspired beers.
The Home Run derby is Monday, July 18th at 5 p.m., and the All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 19th at 4:40 p.m. at Dodger Stadium. Dine-in ahead of either event, or order through our website for pick-up ahead. Outside food and drinks are permitted at Dodger Stadium if it’s in a clear bag or tote. Unbroken, factory-sealed plastic bottles of non-alcoholic beverages of 1 liter or less are allowed.
If you don’t have a clear bag or tote for your to-go order or belongings, don’t worry, the all-new Philippe’s clear tote bag is stadium compliant. Pick one up at the candy counter located downstairs at the main entrance.
A stop at Philippe’s is part of this year’s MLB All-Star experience, so make sure to swing by if you’re in town for or headed to the Home Run Derby or All-star Game.
