On Wednesday night, our Los Angeles Dodgers will host the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Wild Card Game at Dodger Stadium.
It’s the start of postseason play in a nail-biting ‘win or go home’ game, and we’re all in to cheer on our boys in blue.
Pregame at Philippe’s
Start the pregame fun at Philippe’s. Our dining room has been referenced as the unofficial Dodger headquarters and fans always kick off home games with French Dips, brews and more. We offer free parking in both of our lots while patrons grab food for takeout or dine with us, and the restaurant is a short walk from Union Station for those using public transportation.
A classic Philippe’s Beef Double Dip with mac salad or a cup of chili on the side sounds like the perfect pre-game meal. Pair it with one of our beers on draft or a craft can, including a Golden Road Dodger Blonde.
Arrive Early
The parking gates open at 2:40 p.m., and the stadium gates open at 3:10 p.m. Fans can arrive early to enjoy batting practice, so plan an earlier trip to Philippe’s to have lunch or to take French Dips and more to the stadium. Outside food is permitted into Dodger Stadium.
Transportation
Taking public trans such as the Metrolink? The Dodger Stadium Express is free for all ticket holders, and you can hop on at Union Station where buses run every 10 minutes starting two hours before the game.
